Follow the example of the Plymouth Rock pilgrims and share the bountiful harvest with others, especially those in need. We open our home and thanksgiving table to others. When we lived in Kentucky, we always invited international students to share a traditional American Thanksgiving with our family.
Don't let Thanksgiving pass without making a conscious effort to say thank you to someone who has made a profound difference in your life. If you are unable to personally thank them, then consider writing them a letter or call. Be sure to tell your family how much you are thankful for them - we all need to know we are appreciated.
With a thankful heart,
